Message from the Finance council:

There are currently two major projects taking place at St Helena and it's missions; the flooring project at St Helena and the hall construction project at Our lady of Lourdes. 

St Helena Finance Council Recap

  • Meeting was held on February 10th, 2022
  • Flooring project has been completed and the second collections will be discontinued. If the figure for carpeting in the conference rooms remains the same, the project would finish within $400. 00 of the estimated $106,935.00. Carpet installation will begin within a couple of weeks provided it is still available.
  • OLOL Building financial progress was reviewed. Total pledges at this time are $22, 050 with $5,500 collected thus far. Bingo continues with 5 events conducted so far with an average of $342 per event.
  • Tentative 5 year plan, for St Helena was provided by the St Helena Building Committee.
  1. Complete all work in main body of church, ie., trim, wood beams where heat registers were removed, refinish remainder of pews.
  2. Repair or resurface parking lot to include pouring concrete aprons at two east entrances that show the most damage
  3. Upgrade or repair main kitchen appliances
  4. Remodel basement bathrooms
  5. Make basement kitchen fully functional
  6. Build a gift shop in Msgr. Dinan Hall Foye
  • All of the items listed above are tentative and still under discussion.
  • Tentative date for the next meeting is April 28th, 2022.
